The Warrior Princess Creed

Starlight starbright
Under midnight stars
I prowl the night
Hunting evil
Wherever it lies
Catch wrongdoers
By full surprise

Lurking, stalking
A judge for right
Hunting, creeping
In the shadows
I seek to fight
From highs and lows
The vile by moonlight

Both judge and jury
I have become
Know my fury
My wrath's begun
A warrior
Princess I am
Your end has come

"Once Upon a Time"

Once upon a time’s
Such a cliche way
To begin a tale
But we’re looking back
We’re imagining
Wholesale, clearing out
The warehouse of lies
Spun into gold fictions
It should be epic’s
A good prediction

She’s a perfect ten
That sweet hot teacher
But behind those eyes
Lies the sinister
Plots of a vixen
I’m no easy mark
As she will soon learn
But she has something
Quite precious in her
Genius daughter

Gina Lou Harrison
I met her just once
Quite some time ago
But I saw in her
Big blue eyes some hope
She just may agree
There’s truth to my dreams
I have unique peeks
Into darker pages
Of hidden hist’ry

More than just doodles
Fill pages of notebooks
In my bag I hold
Deep secrets that I
Should never reveal
But I know Gina
Just needs a good friend
And yeah, so do I
She will tutor me
In what I must learn

Maybe Gina will
Shed some light on these
Nightmares of dark lust
I know that once I
Begin this dark quest
I may well be sucked
Into a whirlpool
Of pure obsession
With the Dark Moon Queen
Who nightly haunts me

She’s Luna Dawnstar
Hero and villain
Simultaneous
And once she wielded
Mighty CRONOKAI
Sword of space and time
Master sword of fate
She’s come back to me
To tell all her truth
Guess I’ll do my best

Britney Harrison
You taught me too well
How to give my dreams
Higher power through
Words strung together
You may fear me soon
The myths realized
The hidden past’s now
Revealed in moonlight
Gina knows I’m right

"The Death of Jethro Doby" is a narrative poem about one of the sadder moments in the CRONOKAI storyline featured at Luna Starlight Comics.

"The Death of Jethro Doby"

As darkness fell on Union town
The scent of danger on the air
Jethro Doby wore a slight frown
He knew he must tonight take care

In the shadows there was he knew
Someone he thought he once could trust
Turned down a dark, cold avenue
Stay on high alert, yes, he must

Jethro didn't see it coming
Although he really could and should
As his assassin went darting
Off into the fog and skyward

For the dagger had hit its mark
Without pain it took quick effect
The tiny cut won't take his spark
'stead, lethal poison, just a speck

Would take a life without warning
Although Jethro could read the signs
He was in too deep with digging
And he crossed hidden battle lines

He fell in the line of duty
Paved the way for new discov’ry
Leaving behind a vexed beauty
Revenge her only recov’ry

She knew who did the evil deed
A small unassuming pixie
Gray and certainly a bad seed
An informant who proved shifty

Done it with a small boomerang
Measured barely over an inch
Embedded deep into his brain
Finding it now's far from a cinch

The angry ace sleuth and widow
Donna Doby wants on the case
But, no, she's too close to this now
Someone else must be on the chase

No one believes Donna's theory
Except for one keen detective
Knows his killer will be weary
Samson Quin knows his objective

This great fallen man of the law
Will be avenged by Samson’s hand
But he'll find Jethro had a paw
In what truly was plaguing his land

The Shattered Timeline

All across the shattered timeline
So many dead ends lie in view
Led along by twisted road signs
You must wonder which paths are true

O’erwhelmed by possibility
The plots keep winding and twisting
While there's much flexibility
You find your trusty ship listing

Out of balance you lean forward
Looking over the edge you see
Cracks and fissures you're coming towards
It's a rough, stormy temp’ral sea

What came first could now come up last
The middle is murky and dark
Confusion is coming up fast
Here comes another random spark
