If you're to call love a sin

Then how can any of us win

If my heart is doomed to fail

Let me then, let my love sail

In death do we part the same

As you would have us do

Life's a bitter lonely game

Unless one and one make two

If the love between us fails

It won't be from your assails

You and I really are no different

If only the truth were transparent

In courts as our romance is declined

As hecklers scream for our demise

I implore you please, open your eyes

The beautiful bond our love's designed

In life we carry on just as

Two hearts in a romance sublime

In death do we part just as

You and yours will do in time
