My dead heart slowly began stirring that night,
From that spiritual moment I saw the light.
Instantly, I felt a rush of feelings that I hid for years,
Your voice was soothing and calmed my fears.

Feeling stronger with each passing day,
My love for myself ignited along the way.
A familiar feeling that consumes my heart,
It was you, who held me steady from the start.

However, I hid my shattered soul from you,
Along the way, you have discovered a piece of two.
The magical connection we share is completely real,
My shattered soul has now begun to heal.
