Shower of Sparks is a one-drop burn spell from back in the days of Urza’s Saga. It was also reprinted in the Heroes vs Monsters Duel Decks. While it’s greatly outclassed by things such as Lightning Bolt, it’s still an interesting little Shock variant. For a block known for all of its extremely powerful cards, though, this is a pretty underwhelming burn spell. I’m fairly certain this card never saw play outside of Limited, where as a one-drop burn spell like this might have a bit of value. Besides that, it’s a card that I’m very surprised was even reprinted in a Duel Deck.
