The flurry of interviews this past Sunday began with a Magic blogger who I’ve followed for quite some time. Sylvan Studies. He’s built a great team on his website and they cover so many MtG topics.
On Monday, I interviewed the always awesome podcaster Magic with Zuby. We discussed a variety of topics, including some great advice for aspiring podcaster.
On Tuesday, I actually did TWO interviews! One was with the underrated Generic Bad Magic - who is definitely not bad at Magic. We discussed the origin of that screen name, the viability of homebrews in the current Standard environment, among other things.
Our second interview wasn’t a Content Creator Interviewer, but instead a Community Spotlight featuring a major new player in the Magic trading and selling game, CardSphere, a great new way to trade and sell Magic cards! As a major competitor to another major MtG trading website, these guys really have the community in mind with everything they do and are extremely open to feedback! I’m really excited to watch them grow! They’ve already been interviewed by Brainstorm Brewery, so you know they’re legit!
On Wednesday, I interviewed a different sort of content creator in Lily Vess Tweets, who’s strictly a Twitter roleplayer. It turned out to be a great interview and he’s a great guy who loves the game. He is very concerned about the inferior cardstock quality with recent releases, though, a topic that has come up a lot lately.
On Thursday, I interviewed Rhino of MTG Young Mage. He’s a really bright kid and does a lot to help young and new players learn the game. He’s gonna be around a long time!
On Friday, I interviewed Abbie of the UK MtG website Master of Magics. She’s got a great story to tell and MoM is well on the way to being a major player in the UK MtG community.
And, finally, on Saturday, I Interviewed Jordan of Team Orcs Head. We discussed several topics, but the advice he gives for up-and-coming and aspiring Magic the Gathering vloggers and YouTubers particularly makes it worth the read..
And we’re not done! There are more interviews to come! I’m so booked that I won’t be doing anymore until December!
Coming up this next week: MPNumbers, Jake and Joel are Magic, The Whole Box and Dice, Cody Cockerham, and LifeBeginsAt20. Even more interviews to follow!
Thanks for stopping by for our first MTG Community Roundup! Normally, we’ll feature more content from around the community. If there’s any MtG content from this past week or recently that you think we should share, comment below and we’ll be sure to check it out! If we like it, it will be shared and featured in a future MTG Community Roundup!
Have a great week!
