#44 Sword of The Animist
The Sword of Rampant Growth has become a regular fixture in the Best Sellers. It’s extremely good in Commander, as is true of pretty much all of the cards on this list lately. It’s very likely that this card will see a lot of play in the upcoming Standard format, too, as Landfall will definitely be a thing.
#57 Hero’s Downfall
This very useful mono-Black removal card is leaving Standard soon, but it’s a casual favorite and very good in Commander, especially as it hits planeswalkers, too.
#64 In Garruk’s Wake
In Garruk’s Wake is an awesome one-sided boardwipe in multiplayer formats, and it hits planeswalkers, too! I’d probably be in on foils of this card, as they’re roughly the same price as the non-foil.
#67 Managorger Hydra
A card that could be very good in Standard at some point, it’s already made some noise in Hardened Scales decks. This is one that should keep getting better and is definitely a casual favorite. The Trample is a big deal.
#72 Ob Nixilis, Unshackled
The popular Mono-Black Commander and general EDH Black staple is another fixture of this Best Sellers list. It punishes other players for using their tutors and gets big quick when things die. Love this card. I expect it to go up in price over time due to its sheer popularity in Commander and kitchen table Magic.
#79 Bearer of the Heavens
The Bearer always sells well to casual players, because it blows everything up when it dies. Its combination with Colossus of Akros or other indestructible creatures makes it a casual favorite. There are definitely Commander decks that take advantage of it, too.
#92 Sol Ring
The Commander staple keeps getting reprinted but it never really falls below $3. If you need ‘em, grab ‘em. Not surprised to see these selling in anticipation for the Commander 2015 product, although they’ll probably be in there anyway...
#93 Grave Betrayal
This top-end Black Enchantment just gets better and better the more +1/+1 counter support is printed. I expect this card to finally see some growth over the next couple of years due to massive Commander demand.
#100 Avatar of the Resolute
I love the Avatar of the Resolute, and if Hardened Scales decks take off, he’s going to be a big-time card. As it is, a 3/2 with reach and trample for GG is already good value, so any counters you get on him is gravy. I expect this card to do pretty well going forward.
As for Decks and Sets, it should be no surprise that the Duel Decks: Zendikar vs Eldrazi are selling well (#3 right now.) The Magic Origins Deck Builder’s Toolkits are outselling them, though, at #2. That’s what happens when they sell them for only $16.
Should be seeing Battle for Zendikar pre-orders for Single Cards up pretty soon. That will be interesting to watch.
