However, in Theros/Born of the Gods Limited, Plea for Guidance would see some fringe play, since tutors are super-powerful in draft and sealed deck. This card is almost always a plus-one and Limited games can become long and grindy. Six mana to get your two best Enchantment cards and end the stalemate is a good move.
But, as no one is drafting Born of the Gods anymore, Plea for Guidance is almost strictly an EDH card. It sees a fair amount of play in Enchantment-happy decks such as Daxos the Returned, Bruna, Light of Alabaster, Karametra, God of Harvests, and many others. I personally played this sorcery in my own Bruna EDH deck and it always served me well.
Having only a single required White mana in its mana cost makes it playable across a wide spectrum of decks. What is does is very good, but it’s just a bit too high on the mana curve to be very useful in any Constructed format outside of EDH / Commander. Still, it's a great card in that format, so this is one of those bulk rares to keep an eye on.
