Aja gave Nova a dolly and she really loves playing with it. She has been carrying it all over the place with her, including in the high chair. It's been great finding out all of her new interests as she discovers them. Babies are so much fun!

Nova's First Snow In Pictures!

We got the first snow of the season in Aurora, Colorado today. Since Nova isn't even 6 months yet, this was her first time seeing snow. Check out the fun snow pictures! You can't see the flakes in all of the pictures but they were coming down good and she really loved it. She first looked out the window, then we brought her out into it with her snowsuit, and then we gave her a snowball to play with for a few minutes inside the warm house. Sorry that I'm not in any of the photos but I was the picture-taker.

Nova Loves Playground Slides!

Nova has always enjoyed going to the park with her siblings but she hadn't gotten to play much before. Now, she is discovering slides and she really loves going down them while Aja and Nathan hold her.

Cat In The Hat Style Fun With Nova Skye

Nova loves listening to Dr. Seuss books. So, it's only appropriate that she has a Cat in the Hat Dr. Seuss outfit, as well as Cat in the Hat pajamas. One day when we went to IKEA, she happened to have on said outfit and wanted to play in a tent that matched her stripes. She had so much fun! You can see her snoozing in her jammies from another long day, as well.

Nova Visits Bingham Lake Park at The Pinery in Parker, Colorado

Oh, deer! Yeah, they're really in someone's backyard!

If you're ever looking for a great lakeside retreat in Colorado, look no further than Bingham Lake Park at the Pinery in Parker, CO. There's a great lake here along with a mile-long walking trail. Nova had a great time, as she really loves nature.

Daddy also took some other good photos that he'll get around to sharing later!

Nova Skye in Her Graco 4ever Car Seat!

While Nova's Graco 4ever Car Seat was quite expensive, it's been well worth the investment! That's the way I look at it. The way that most car seats are designed, you have to end up buying 4 or so seats when your child is little, including booster seats.

There are a lot of pieces to it when the kid is little, but as they get bigger, parts get adjusted and even come off. It really is working out quite well now that Nova's gotten bigger and it's the only seat she should need until she's ready to sit in a regular seat on her own.

Essentially, it was well worth what I dropped on it.

Sometimes you take pictures that are just too darn cute that you just feel like you have no choice but to post them. Here are some shots of Nova Skye in her Graco 4ever Car Seat.

Nova's First Visit to Spirit Halloween

On the day before Halloween 2016, we took Nova to see the stuff at Spirit Halloween. She's always been quite amused with Halloween items, and she enjoyed it just as much as we had hoped!

Nova Skye's First Visit to IKEA

Nova's first visit to IKEA was a fun one. She especially enjoyed the X's and O's toy that they put out there for kids to play with.

Here's a video of Nova playing with the spinning toy.

And like she usually does, Nova wanted to drive, too!

While we didn't get pictures or video of it, she also really enjoyed some of the vinyl play toys, like the circus tent, kid's caravan tent, and play tunnel.

Also, as a side note, this sign points out perhaps the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen...

As much as I love cinnamon buns, I don't think I needed to be told that this sign did not depict this yummy treat in actual size. Really, they had to say "Not actual size" for some reason. From a quick Yahoo search, it seems that they did this just as a joke, and that the cinnamon buns aren't even that good of quality. Still, it's funny.

While we didn't buy anything, we enjoyed our field trip nonetheless.
