Each time I wash the baby's bottles (about twice per day), sippy cups, spoons, and soon, it's a huge ordeal. Why? She uses more dishes than all of us put together! Have you ever counted all of the tiny pieces that make up each bottle, sippy cup, formula dispenser, and more? Please, don't. You'll never want to wash them again. Just kidding. I actually enjoy washing all of her stuff and getting it prepared. But boy, is it a lot of stuff. Each sippy cup has 6 pieces and she has several of those. |
Each bottle has 5 pieces, not counting the other 3 pieces for each formula dispenser insert. She has 15 bottles. Then, there are spoons, bowls, lids, teethers, and more! There used to be lots of pacifiers too, but thankfully, she kicked that habit a bit ago. Anyhow, whenever I hear people talking about prepping dishes to go in a dishwasher, I'm thinking to myself, wanna trade? Each of the pieces to each of the baby's "dishes" needs to be hand washed and hand rinsed one at a time and many of them are tiny and have tools to reach specific nooks and crannies. |
Babies sure use a TON of dishes. But it's well worth the sacrifice to have a happy, satisfied, and healthy baby.
Oh and a big shoutout to Munchkin for the awesome Munchkin bottle and nipple brushes, plus the High Capacity Drying Rack. There's no way I could properly wash and dry all of these pieces without them.
