Crafting to Help Homeless Pets
Lyn has started up her crafting work again on Etsy, and we had our first sale yesterday! Also, Lyn has been auctioning off extra beads on Listia, and three listings were won between two different people. We stopped by A.C. Moore this morning for a couple of odds and ends and Market Basket for a couple food items since they were right next to each other. I filled up the gas tank, as we've been running a lot of errands lately, since it was on the way back. We then shipped out the orders and came home.
The Hobbit Trilogy Complete!
Finally, I happened to win a UV code for the last movie in the Hobbit trilogy: Battle of the Five Armies. I won the other two on Listia awhile back in anticipation of the third movie being released, and now I have all three. I have tons of points left on Listia from auctioning off a huge chunk of my old Pokemon card collection. UV codes are pretty cheap on there, and it's like buying a movie, since you can play them anytime you want on Vudu – on computer, on the phone, and on a lot of Blu-Ray players now, too. We' watched the first and second movie today in anticipation of the third movie, which neither Lyn nor I have seen.
The Red Sox!
Today was opening day for the Red Sox and Phillies in Philadelphia. After watching Jon Lester struggle for the Cubs on opening night, the Red Sox embarassed the Phillies this afternoon, hitting 5 home runs. Dustin Pedroia hit two, Mookie Betts hit one, and Hanley Ramirez hit two more, one of which was a grand slam. Clay Buchholz pitched extremely well, and looked like the ace that the Sox hope he can be.
Beyond that we're just watching Bates Motel on A&E and taking it easy.
How about your day?
