Also, like the other Archetype creatures from Born of the Gods, Archetype of Imagination has found its way into a few Commander decks. Although there are plenty of ways to give your creatures flying in Commander, making your opponents lose flying is a pretty neat effect to have in addition. Of course, hope that your opponent doesn't play their own Archetype of Imagination, too, because then no one is flying at all!
One Commander deck that has made good use of Archetype of Imagination is Animar, Soul of Elements. His ability to reduce creature casting costs makes this Archetype often cost a mere 2 Blue mana. That's some crazy value to make all your guys fly and be essentially unblockable, unless an opposing creature has reach.
Another Commander who uses this Archetype is Azami, Lady of Scrolls. Not only can Azami tap the Archetype to draw a card (since the archetype is a Wizard, too), but... FLYING WIZARDS!
The Archetype of Imagination is flavorful and interesting from a concept sort of view. The effect to give your creatures flying while grounding opposing fliers is also pretty unique. While you won't see it in tournament play, it has its uses in Commander.
