The Dos And Don'ts  Of Love Spells

4/8/2021

Picture
The fantastic thing about love spells is the individual soul binding experience with yourself and someone who is secure in learning the do's and don'ts of spirituality. The  emotional ties of a love spell can create a lasting bond when two people are truly meant to be.  But like any practice, there are some important dos and don'ts of love spells.

Do: Use A Love Spell To Draw Kindred Souls Closer

A love spell can help two people on the same journey draw closer together when the alignment is correct. This is where you need to be in touch with your intuitive self, as well as be aware of your love interest's subconscious desires before attempting the spell.

Do: Consider Valid Reasons For Love Spells

Reasons to utilize a love spell include two willing people who may be feeling insecure, binding two willing connected spirits together, and banishing any negativity without a trace.  But how do you know when it's a good time to start?

Do: Be Patient And Tune In To Your Soul

You will feel it in your soul.  The closer you are to your spirit, the connection of other energies, and the connection to your love interest's energies, the more your soul will tell you.  That takes time, but be patient  and absorb how sensitive it all can be to touch a place where few have been.

Don't: Rush Into A Love Spell Unprepared

Love spells can help create a magical, mystical, and new meaning to love. However, the danger of love spells is also ever present.  Keep in mind that not being prepared spiritually or doing a love spell for the wrong reasons will cause it to backfire and come back upon you  in ways you will not be prepared for.

Don't: Infringe On Another's Free Will

Many try too much to seek out love through spells when this is not the proper usage of  this sacred  spiritual gift.  They don't allow themselves time to do the proper research and are infringing upon another's rights. Exercising a person's love through this practice puts weight on your shoulders. If they are not willing, you are tampering with their free will.

Don't: Be Misleading Or Bind To The Wrong Person

It should be respected and taken into consideration what could go wrong if you are misleading with your energy and sending the wrong vibes to someone you have no business messing with. Any time a love spell is done, remember that you are creating a lasting bond. Do you really want to bind yourself to another being that isn't right for you? Imagine being bound to an abuser or worse.

Love spells can truly be a beautiful and magical experience when shared between two willing and aware individuals. But if you are unsure in any way, it is best to err on the side of caution and wait until both parties know in their soul that this is what should be done. Just being in love does not necessarily mean you need a love spell. It is something you both will feel and know in alignment.

Sage is an old-age aromatic herb used for many different healing and medicinal purposes. Native to the Mediterranean and a component of the mint family, the sweet, distinct fragrance the herb provides is an instant mood boost. Sage's most renowned benefits are its magical properties of protection & divine wisdom. Many Shamans, rootworkers, Reiki Healers, and spiritualists use Sage regularly in their healing & energy clearing practices.

When searching for sage, you'll want to be sure you choose a good quality herb, such as our sage at Intent-sive Nature.  Using excellent quality sage is essential to get the most healing benefits from its natural properties.

Some of the Magical healing properties of Sage are its noticeable encouragement of longevity and the Promotion of increased Wisdom and Knowledge. Lighting up some sage while doing spiritual readings, chakra healing sessions, tantra, or reiki can help channel forth the spiritual wisdom of your Ancestors & Spirit Guides. and assist in accessing Universal Knowledge via The Akashic Records.

Spiritually, Sage has the capability of cleansing and purifying one's atmosphere and body. Sage is respected as a sacred and majestic plant, used to create a bridge to the divine spiritual world, The Divine Creator or Divine Primordial Mother—what many recognize as God. Sage is utilized in calling forth heavenly spiritual & celestial warriors to battle the unseen realms that are in constant movement around us.

If you need to get grounded, boost your courage and perseverance, try lighting some magical sage to draw on its natural spiritual properties. You are smudging your home & or workspace ushering in fresh, positive energy. Quality smudge sticks will render some of the most potent healing properties.

Use sage when outside chaos enters into your life or physical environment. The magical spiritual properties of sage have the power to draw Light-Beings close to us, providing spiritual healing and comfort in times of stress.  Sage helps us to truly connect into the spirit of our homes, allowing us to strengthen our heart space and all those that dwell there with us. Sage magical properties can draw a hedge of spiritual protections into our homes, keeping unwanted negative entities away.

Perhaps you prefer loose leaf sage over a smudge stick? If you're in a space where smudging isn't necessarily appropriate to burn, put some loose sage herbs into hot water and steep like tea for a few minutes. After the sage has soaked, you can either pour it into a spray bottle and midst the areas you want to clear spiritually or drink like a tea.  You can even choose to add a few drops of your favorite essential oils, such as lavender or lemongrass, to your spray bottle. Allow sage's magical energies to attract more abundance and prosperity into your home & life.

Creating an Altar and consistently placing a Protection Ritual Candle on it is a very effective & safe way to practice spell working. It's important to use some type of Protection Ritual Spell to provide a foundational barrier to keeping unwanted hexes, malevolent energies & entities away!  Do this along with creating a magical Protection Shield to ward off not only physical vampires but those spiritual blood-sucking parasites as well.

If you’re needing some creative flare on how to use your Protection Ritual Candle in your Magical affairs, then keep scrolling down for some enchanting tips!

(3) Three Ways to Use a Protection Ritual Candle:

CARVE IT-- Carve a protection spell writ into your Protection Ritual Candle using a magical athame, the tip of a pencil or pen, a nail, or any other small pointy type object that can be used as a writing utensil.  Depending  on the size of the candle you can write something short & sweet, or re elaborate with concise detailed spell writing. Either way it's the intention & intensity of your own energy you put into your Protection Candle that is the most important & will perfectly yield your spell & ritual intentions forward.

WRAP IT-- Wrap your Protection Ritual Candle in a torn off piece of brown paper bag. Your probably wondering what’s the point of that. Well, you can get creative in writing out a protection petition on it 3 times and then autographing your name. Or you may want to create a perfect personal protection sigil,–one you create yourself or one you find surfing the world wide web. After you've decided, decorate your protection sigil onto the torn piece of brown paper bag. Than, once your paper is to your likening you can wrap it around Your Protection Ritual Candle. CAUTION: I would only recommend this for candles that are housed in jars, we wouldn’t want to start anyyyyyyyy fires that we can't controllably put out!!!  However, if your altar is large enough, with a space for burning ritual elements in a fire-safe cauldron or container, then place your wrapped candle in there and let it burn baby, burn!!! Also an alternative would be to simply fold the paper towards you three times, setting your intention of Protection into each folded crease and placing it under the candle. Perhaps the candle is on a wax dripping spell plate, place petition underneath the plate to complete the ritual.

RETURN TO SENDER-- is a cool way to use your Protection Ritual Candle to reverse curses, hexes, unwanted spell works, or to get Karmic Justice. A simple way to do this is by using some  reversal oil to dress your Protection Ritual Candle with and placing it on your working altar. You can Also take a spiritual cleansing bath, light & place your Protection Ritual candle on the side of the tube. Through Visualization while in your spiritual bath look at the flame of the candle and see all negativity returning back to where it was sent from. If it is your own negativity see and visualize it falling into the bathwater. As you end your bath watch all the negativity go down the drain, leaving your space. Feel good and know all is well with your ritual spell work! Drip some of the wax of your Protection Ritual Candle onto a small piece of cloth you can fold, tie or pin to your clothing or even wear in your bra or pants pocket as a form of a Protection amulet. Allow the remaining Protection Ritual Candle to burnout on your working altar.

8 Benefits of Reiki Crystals for Healing

Healing crystals are often used with Reiki practices for healing. Reiki crystals or Reiki stones can be used in combination with any Reiki treatment for added benefits. Many healing practitioners swear by the benefits of adding this to regular therapeutic treatments. While most effective when using a licensed Reiki practitioner, these healing techniques can also be used by individuals to help heal themselves.  Here are 8 benefits of Reiki crystals for healing.

Using Reiki Crystals to De-Stress and Control Mood Swings

One major benefit many say comes from this type of healing practice is stress relief. Whether a person needs to de-stress from a long day at work or another tiring situation, Reiki crystals are said to provide relief. Mood swings are a typical occurrence that may come along with stress and this is another area where Reiki stones may come in handy. Some of the stones used for this purpose  include quartz, agate, amethyst, green calcite, magnesite, and many more.

Reiki Stones and Systemic Health

Whole body health is extremely important to maintain. To do this, one must focus on every part of the entire system. Systemic reiki stone treatments usually consist of a combination of stones used in conjunction with reiki motions in order to heal the body as a whole. The stones used can often depend on desired results. But some stones that are good for systemic healing include citrine, fluorite, tourmaline, sodalite, rose quartz, aventurine, amethyst, magnesite, and others. Your Reiki healer will know what to select but if you are choosing your own, be sure to select those which either have multiple healing properties or those which complement each other to create a full body experience.

Immune Strengthening and Healthy Sleep from Reiki Stones

There are several different types of crystals and stones used to strengthen immunity. These can be even stronger when used in combination with Reiki treatments. Bloodstone, calcite, magnesite, fluorite, agate, rose quartz, and several others  are often used in detoxification and immune boosting therapies for their cleansing and balancing properties. These same stones and others can also be used in creating and maintaining a healthier sleep pattern. When there is relaxation and a stronger immune system, some may find sleep comes much easier.

Pain Relief with the Use of Reiki Healing Crystals

Whether dealing with pain on a daily basis or temporarily, many will still need to seek relief. Reiki healing crystals are said to help provide some relief in this area as well. A Reiki healer or oneself should use the closest chakra point to the area experiencing pain. Using healing crystals chosen for the specific type of ailment can help improve results. Malachite and bloodstone are some of the most common crystals used in Reiki pain relief. Some others may include white or blue lace agate, lapis lazuli, amethyst, and rose quartz. White agate has been used during the birthing process to help alleviate pain for the mother, as well as to put protection around the baby before, during, and after birth.

Eliminate Fear and Gain Confidence Using Reiki Stones

Holding onto fears and having a lack of self confidence can be a huge roadblock in many areas of life. To help alleviate this issue, try using Reiki healing crystals. The amethyst is one of the more common crystals used for this purpose, as it can help create self-confidence, psychic awareness, visual clarity, and more. Another may be the rose quartz crystal for its calming and protective effects.

Take Away Sadness Through Healing Crystals

One of the best ways to take away sadness is to create happiness. Golden-colored crystals are usually a great choice when it comes to Reiki healing crystals for relieving sadness. Some of these include gold itself, golden beryl, and citrine. All of these are good stones to choose for overall contentment, relief of sadness, happiness, and well-being of the mind.

Open Up Your Mind Through Reiki Stones

Open-mindedness is important when navigating the obstacles of life. It is often tough for some to achieve this around certain topics or events. For help opening the mind try to choose crystals that offer insight, clarity, and openness. A good combination of Reiki stones might be citrine, turquoise, and amethyst used together.

Use Reiki Crystals for a Purification Ceremony or Auric Sweep

Reiki crystals and stones are often given a purification ceremony before use. This is when the Reiki Practitioner will cleanse and purify the stones for a specific use. The benefit of purifying the stones beforehand is to create further efficacy. During an auric sweep, your Reiki master will take the crystals (usually after they’ve been purified) and do a sweeping hand gesture to sweep your auras of all negative energies. Both of these are great practices alone or in combination with any other uses of Reiki healing stones.

Cleansing Protective Crystal and Gemstone Jewelry

4/1/2019

by Lyn Lomasi; Owner of Intent-sive Nature & the Brand Shamans network
Picture
When choosing and wearing your protection jewelry, it should be done with specific intentions in mind. There are certain procedures you may wish to follow and actions to take before wearing protection jewelry. Here are some of my best tips on cleansing protective crystal and gemstone jewelry.

Why Cleanse and Infuse Your Crystals and Gemstones Before Use

Before ever using or wearing your crystals and gemstones, it is important to cleanse them. This will take away any negative or unwanted energies that have touched the crystals or gemstones at any point. This also goes for your entire piece of jewelry. Objects can all take on energies from everyplace they’ve been. So, it’s a must that you cleanse your crystal and gemstone jewelry as soon as you receive it, as well as periodically to keep them at their best. Cleansing can also strengthen your crystals and gemstones and help them ward off more negative energy as you wear them. There are many methods for cleansing these pieces. Here are some of the simplest and most common methods I’ve used or seen in practice.

Cleanse Protection Jewelry with Sage Smudging

For this method, simply light the tip of one bunch of sage leaves inside a ceramic bowl and allow the smoke to surround your crystals and gemstones. This is called smudging. Try finding a place to do this where it’s well-ventilated and where the crystals or gemstones can be suspended above the dish enough to not be touched by the fire. This will remove all prior energies and refresh them for use. Some like to also include a meditation, prayer, chant, intent, or spell recited while the sage is burning to infuse the crystals and gemstones with a specific intent or usage.

Using Water to Cleanse Your Gemstone and Crystal Protection Jewelry

There are many methods for cleansing crystals using water. However, this can destroy certain crystals and gemstones. So, I generally don’t recommend this unless you know that the crystal you’re using can withstand it. Water is a natural cleanser, so if you use this method, simply place the crystals in water and gently rub them. Again, only do this with those you know are safe to place in water.

White Light Cleansing for Crystals and Gemstones in Protection Jewelry

If you are able to create white light, this is one of the best methods to cleanse crystals. It is also my personal favorite. It is very similar to prayer. To create white light, simply close your eyes and request of the universe (or whom you believe to be the creator) to create white light. Then, envision this light filling your entire body. Keep this energy with you and open your eyes, sweeping your hands in the proper direction to guide the white light toward the object that needs cleansing - in this case, your gemstone and crystal jewelry. As you do this, ask the universe (or your creator) to transform any negative energies within the gemstone and crystal jewelry into positive energy.

Moonlight Cleansing for Protection Crystals and Gemstones

Using the energies from the full moon is my other favorite method for cleansing crystals and gemstones. All of mine get cleansed under a full moon before ever using them to create protection jewelry for myself or for the Intent-sive Nature shop. To do this, simply place the crystals, gemstones, or wearables on a flat container, such as a ceramic altar (which can also be charged and cleansed by the moon). Put them outside where the moonlight will shine directly on them. Leave them under the moonlight as long as possible. This can be done under any moon cycle, but the full moon is the strongest. Moonlight can both charge and cleanse the crystals and gemstones at the same time. This means it helps make them stronger, restores their original powers, as well as strips them of negative energies.

Choosing to Wear Rose Quartz Crystal Jewelry for Color Meanings by Lyn Lomasi; Co-Owner of Intent-sive Nature & the Brand Shamans network
Choosing and wearing rose quartz crystal jewelry for color meanings relies on intent. Every color has traditional meanings, but also may hold special meanings to the wearer. Below are traditional meanings and reasons some may choose to wear rose quartz crystals for healing, protection, and other purposes.

Crystal color meanings are derived from a variety of cultures and religions, including Christian, Pagan, Native American tribes, various cultures from India, and many other cultures and religions from all over the word, including non-religious people.

One thing that stands out in research over the years is that healing crystal color meanings tend to be the same or similar, regardless of country, culture, or religion. This makes sense since these crystals are a naturally occurring substance and therefore derive their energies and properties from nature.

Chronic Pain and Loneliness

2/23/2019

by Pamela Jessen, Contributing Writer
Having a chronic illness like Fibromyalgia can be a very isolating experience. Many of us used to work and found a lot of our social life revolved around our jobs, whether it was getting together with the gang after work for drinks or volunteering with a workgroup for a community project. Often, a best friend was made at our jobs whom we would hang out with more frequently, and those sorts of friendships became treasured relationships to us.

Picture
After you become chronically ill though, you often have to give up working, and those relationships no longer exist, not even with the "best friend" that you made. How do you handle the loneliness that comes from that? We tend to not go out a lot in the first place, because of pain and fatigue, so without a reason to get together with former co-workers, there's now more reason to isolate ourselves than ever. It's depressing to know that you're no longer "part of the gang" and that you don't fit in anymore. It's even more depressing to know that your former friends don't even realize that they've shut you out. It's just the natural progression of you no longer being at the job, and nothing personal.

Reaching Out

But what happens when you try to reach out, to make plans, and people don't return calls? Or when people reach out to you, but you're unable to go, because their plans are too ambitious for you? I'd love to see people for coffee, but they always want to combine it with shopping followed by dinner and drinks afterwards, and that's too much of a day for me. Lunch and shopping, I can do that on a good day, but then I want to go home. And if it's a bad day, then I have to say no right from the start. And what happens if I start having too many bad days when friends want to get together? They stop calling, period. I am "too sick all the time" and no longer any fun to be with. It's easy to get depressed when this happens.

Picture
It's so frustrating when friends give up on you. I can't control my good and bad days. I have no idea when a good day is going to go bad. I can feel great in the morning and then start to go downhill by the early afternoon. I try to explain that to people, but they don't always understand how unpredictable Fibromyalgia can be. Sometimes it can change from hour to hour and even minute by minute. It's like going outside in changing weather and never being sure of how many layers you should wear. Will you be too hot, too cold or just right? And what do you do with all those layers if you don't need them?

There's also the other side of the coin though. What if your friends continue to invite you out, but you keep turning them down? Your reasons seem valid; you're in pain, it's too much of a hassle, the weather is too difficult, you're tired, or you just don't feel like it. It's easy to make excuses, but you also need to search the real reasons for saying no. Are the reasons you're giving valid? Or are you turning down invitations because of depression?

Signs to Watch Out For

How do you know if you're becoming depressed or socially isolated? Here are some signs to watch for:

  • Being less motivated to leave your home
  • Feeling more anxious or worried when leaving the house
  • Declining invitations from friends or family to meet or attend gatherings
  • Planning fewer social opportunities for yourself
  • Ignoring supports when they reach out to you
  • Seeing only negatives associated with social connections

If you recognize any of these symptoms, please see a doctor in order to be treated appropriately. If you want to be more socially active, but find your friends are not as available as they've been in the past, the following suggestions might be helpful for you:

  • Volunteer with like-minded people
  • Help out in an animal shelter
Picture
  • Take up a new hobby
  • Join a support group (in person or online)
  • Join a Social Group in your City (look on Craigslist)
  • Keep a journal - it can help put things in perspective

Loneliness can be hard to deal with, but with the right understanding and support, you can overcome it. Make sure you're staying in touch with people and not isolating yourself, and reach out to others if your friends have stopped reaching out to you. It's okay to move forward and make new friends. Listen to your body and do what's right for you. If you're feeling up to it, go out and make new friendships through volunteer work or so social groups. If you need to take a break from socializing, that's fine. Just don't fade into the woodwork. Remember, your presence is valued no matter how much of it you are able to give at any time. You are loved. And as I always say...

There Is Always Hope!

Try not to worry too much, as the deep reflection and finding a balance between the old you and the new you can often be scary. You may want to question things, especially if they seem too good.

If you draw the Eight of Sky card in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck in the reversed or inverted position, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this tarot card reading?

DECK: Mystical Cats Tarot
CARD: Eight of Sky (Eight of Swords)
POSITION: Reversed / Inverted

In Mystical Cats Tarot, the Sky Clan cards correspond to the Suit of Swords in any of the Waite Tarot decks. While the artwork on the cards is considerably different than on traditional Waite tarot cards, they can often be read in similar ways. However, the reading for the Eight of Sky in the Mystical Cats guidebook says is rather different from traditional readings of the Eight of Swords in Waite Tarot, especially in the reversed position.

According to the “Tales of the Mystical Cats,” the Eight of Sky reversed means that you’re being tested. Whether that’s by others or by the universe in general, it’s time to show your ability to improvise and find innovative solutions for your problems. This should be considered an initiatory experience. Once you’ve passed this test, you’ll feel great achievement and find new self-respect. Others will recognize this, as well.

This card suggests that you’re open to new perspectives and are ready to release things that are holding you back. Seeing this card reversed by the Eight of Swords meaning indicates that you’ve already gone through difficult times and you’re becoming more open to self-acceptance and change.

The Eight of Sky tells you that you’ve already reflected on what’s worked and what hasn’t in your life. Now, you’ve changed your approach to things on your perspective on life. Perhaps in the past you played the role of the victim to your circumstances. But now you always are able to see that there are options. You’ve also learned to take greater accountability for where you’re at in life.

Still, seeing the card reversed means that despite the progress you’ve made, you still have to free yourself from some things from your past. There are still some skeletons in the closet that still need to be cleaned out. The advise of this card is to let go of old beliefs and behaviors that were holding you back before. You’re on the right track, so don’t be afraid to improvise.

What does the Eight of Sky (or Eight of Swords) card in the reversed position mean for you?

Sea King (King of Cups) - Mystical Cats Tarot Readings

If you draw the Sea King card in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this tarot card reading?

DECK: Mystical Cats Tarot
CARD: Sea King (King of Cups)
POSITION: Upright

In the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, the Sea Clan cards correspond to those of the Suit of Cups in the  traditional Waite Tarot decks. In some cases, their meanings somewhat altered, as well. In this case, the Sea King card corresponds to the King of Cups card in traditional Waite Tarot decks. It’s definitely a good card to draw.

The Sea King card suggests that you are someone that others look to for calm strength and reassurance. He suggests that you’ve earned respect as a peacemaker, which comes out of an authentic wish to reach out to others with kindness. The Sea King says that everyone within your sphere of influence benefits from your wise compassion, and that you’re able to counsel others without taking on others’ burdens as your own.

The traditional reading for the King of Cups represents emotional balance and control, as well as generosity. So, the Mystical Cats Sea King is very much aligned with that interpretation of his analog in Waite Tarot. In this case, the Sea King suggests that you should be most generous with your kindness.

But, be sure to follow his example and don't let others burdens become your own burdens. If anything, do what you can to help others get back onto their feet so that they can help themselves. Like the Sea King, working on your emotional intelligence and self-control can go a long way towards knowing when and how to help others to the benefit of everyone involved.

Grace (Temperance) - Mystical Cats Tarot Readings

If you draw the Grace card in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this tarot card reading?

DECK: Mystical Cats Tarot
CARD: Grace (Temperance)
POSITION: Upright

In the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, the Major Arcana of traditional Waite Tarot are known as the Cat Mysteries in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck. Some of the names of the cards are different and their meanings somewhat altered. In this case, the Grace card corresponds to the Temperance card in traditional Waite Tarot decks. It’s definitely a good card to draw.

According to the “Tales of the Mystical Cats” guidebook, the Cat’s advice is to find a place of inner harmony that allows you to move with pose and grace through any challenge you meet. If you get knocked off balance, figure out what’s needed to steady you. You have an ability to adapt to changing circumstances that allows you to be sure-footed even in tempestuous times. The cat advises you to seek tranquility.

Traditionally known as Temperance, the Grace card signifies balance, moderation, and patience. It also suggests that you've found purpose in your life and meaning in what you're doing. If you haven't found these things yet, the Grace card suggests that you soon will as long as you keep yourself steady and stay the course with whatever you're doing. Even if what you're seeking isn't yet in sight, stay true to your good intentions, be patient, and what you seek – or something even better – will come before you know it.

If you draw the Eight of Sky card in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this tarot card reading?

DECK: Mystical Cats Tarot
CARD: Eight of Sky (Eight of Swords)
POSITION: Upright

In Mystical Cats Tarot, the Sky Clan cards correspond to the Suit of Swords in any of the Waite Tarot decks. In many cases, while the artwork on the cards is considerably different, they are often read much the same. However, what the Eight of Sky suggests by what the Mystical Cats guidebook says is quite different from traditional readings of the Eight of Swords in Waite Tarot.

Typically, the Eight of Swords would represent isolation, imprisonment, or self-imposed restriction. But although imprisonment is signified by the Eight of Sky, it's read with a far more positive connotation. Let’s see what’s suggested by the cat in this card.

According to the “Tales of the Mystical Cats,” if you’re in a bad situation, it’s not as dire as you might think or as it first appears. If you feel trapped without any choices, stay calm. There’s a simple solution if you look for it. The best advice is to stay still and let your fear pass. If you thrash about, the situation will only get worse. Don’t let frustration get the best of you, and don’t let small annoyances only add to your frustration. Trust your own intelligence to find your way out.

By the Mystical Cats reading, the Eight of Sky signifies that you're currently being held back or have been isolating yourself for reasons that very likely aren't enough to keep you that way. In fact, you'd read this card much like you would the reversed Eight of Swords in Waite Tarot. That would be saying you should be open to new perspectives to release yourself into the life you could be living. In any case, this card means that whatever is keeping you stuck at the moment will soon pass if you keep an open mind.

If you draw the Death card in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this tarot card reading?

DECK: Mystical Cats Tarot
CARD: Death
POSITION: Upright

In the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, the Major Arcana of traditional Waite Tarot are known as the Cat Mysteries in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck. Some of the names of the cards are different and their meanings somewhat altered. However, Death is pretty much the same, although in the Mystical Cats deck, the artwork depicts the Nine Lives of a cat..

The Death card reminds you to be aware that whatever you’re dealing with at the moment is finite. It may be time to let something go. Don’t cling to what no longer serves you, as keeping these things around will only leave you stuck on your evolutionary path. Let go of what’s already done so that new life can come to you. Be thankful for the lessons that your trials have taught you and each gift that you’ve received along the way.

Death is a card of endings and new beginnings. It signifies that you are in a time of change, transition, and hopefully transformation for the better. You may be having a hard time letting go of certain things in your life that no longer do any good. It's time to declutter both your material life and your spiritual life. If you're going through a hard time, accept that it's temporary and that it will soon be coming to an end. Look to tomorrow as a good new beginning.

What does the Death card mean for you?

DECK: Mystical Cats Tarot
CARD: Three of Fire (Three of Wands)
POSITION: Upright

In Mystical Cats Tarot, the Fire Clan cards are the same as those in the Suit of Wands in any of the Waite Tarot decks. In this case, the Three of Fire corresponds with the Three of Wands. The imagery of this card depicts a white cat looking up towards something that she is about to leap up to and investigate.

According to the “Tales of the Mystical Cats,” the Three of Fire advises you that it’s time to make a leap of faith. It’s time to leave the safety of your comfort zone. While your next step may involve some risk, the rewards will make up for it. The Three of Fire tells you that you’ve probably been lingering in the dark for too long and it’s time to leap into the light. This is the only way that you’ll find enlightenment.

Like with the Three of Wands in traditional Waite Tarot, the Three of Fire signifies enterprise, expansion, foresight, and preparation. It means that your plans are progressing and you may be looking to expand your ventures even further. The Three of Fire tells you that as long as you keep a firm foundation and stick to your plan, you’ll find success, and potentially even more new opportunities.

If you draw The Oyster card in The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit  deck, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this spirit animal card reading?

DECK: The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck
CARD: The Oyster

ELEMENT: Water

SYMBOLIZES: Patience, Secrets, Hidden Inner Treasures

The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit card deck can be used as daily inspiration, to answer life questions, and even in the same way as you would use a tarot or oracle deck. As with any deck meant for readings and guidance, your intuition, as well as reflection on what the cards could mean will serve you well in discovering what they mean for you. However, this reading interpretation (based upon the guidebook included with the cards, as well as my own intuitive interpretations) can help you learn more about some possible meanings.

What Does it Mean When You Draw The Oyster in the Animal Spirit Deck?

Being of the water element, the oyster flows with the tides and can accomplish anything. Therefore, if you draw the oyster card in an animal spirit deck, you are a very determined and focused individual. Whatever an oyster puts their mind to is achieved in full and with grace and charm.

However, the oyster's go-with-the-flow and humble mentality can also mean that many gifts are taken for granted. The oyster may often become withdrawn and protective, shying from everyone and keeping their inner gifts concealed from the world.

Drawing the oyster card means that you may be hiding treasures within that the world would marvel to see. This is a time for sharing your gifts or secrets. Shine bright for everyone to see who you truly are. Only then, will you achieve all of your desires.

When the oyster is in balance, they feel blessed, generous, and masterful. This means success is occurring or right around the corner.

When the oyster is out of balance, they can be reluctant, withdrawn, and may clam up.

In order to achieve balance, the oyster must share something for all the world (or at least the world around them) to see.

If you drew  The Oyster card in The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck, what did you learn? Tell us in the comments below.

If you draw the Earth King in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this tarot card reading?

DECK: Mystical Cats Tarot
CARD: Earth King (King of Pentacles)
POSITION: Upright

In Mystical Cats Tarot, the Earth Clan cards are the same as the cards in the Suit of Pentacles in any of the Waite Tarot decks. With this card, the Earth King can be read in much the same way as the King of Pentacles.

What advice does this card give you?

The Earth King is a very good card to draw! This is a card that I like to see in a reading for myself, as I’m an Earth sign (Taurus). This is the card that spoke to me most when I was first looking through the Mystical Cats Tarot deck. I felt as if he was looking right into my soul, in fact. But, you don’t have to be an Earth sign for this card to be a great omen for you.

According to the “Tales of the Mystical Cats,” the Earth King reminds you that others rely on your practicality and stability. He advises you to count your material blessings in order to maintain prosperity, even having enough that you can share it with others in need.

The Earth King tells you that you’ll find your greatest satisfaction in helping others feel safe and secure. Whether that security and safety is in the home, workplace, or greater community, giving to and sharing with others is your calling.

If you’re currently having a rough time, it’s time to recognize the abundance that you already have in your life.  It’s possible that the Earth King may be telling you to focus on being practical and recognize that things are more stable than they may at first appear. You have control over your own destiny and have the power to help others find their own destinies. By bringing security to others around you, and teaching others the discipline necessary to achieve their own dreams, you will find your own contentment.

The Earth King favors quality over quantity, and so should you. Even if you don’t have much, what you do have is already good. If there are struggles in your life now, stay the course with what’s worked for you, and you will find success. Above all, make kindness and generosity your top priorities when it comes to everything that you do in life. Only then will you feel true fulfilment and happiness in your life.

What does the Earth King (or King of Pentacles) tell you?

Ace of Sea (Ace of Cups) REVERSED / INVERTED - Mystical Cats Tarot Readings

by Phoenix A. Desertsong, Staff Writer, Healer & Advocate
Picture
If you draw the Ace of Sea reversed in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this tarot card reading?

DECK: Mystical Cats Tarot
CARD: Ace of Sea (Ace of Cups)
POSITION: Reversed / Inverted

In Mystical Cats Tarot, the Sea Clan cards are the same as the cards in the Suit of Cups in any of the Waite Tarot decks. With this card, the Ace of Sea can be read in much the same way as the Ace of Cups.

According to “The Tales of Mystical Cats,” the emblem for the Sea Cats signifies that you’re entering the territory of the Sea Clan. Their territory is a plan where imagination and emotions may freely flow. The cats here live by the way of love, happy to welcome you, and happy to listen to your dreams.

What advice does this card give you?

The Ace of Sea is usually a happy card to draw. But when it’s drawn in the reversed or inverted position, it means that something is receding from you. That may be something tangible or your own emotional response to something. If you feel like something is getting away from you, this card advises you to let it go.

You may be feeling very sad about something. The Ace of Sea advises you to let your sadness flow and accept it as part of the natural flow of things. Trust that happiness will return in time. Also, if you drew the card for a question, the answer is no.

If you’re looking for more guidance from this card, there’s also the interpretations for the traditional Ace of Cups to consider. Drawing the Ace of Cups reversed often represents blocked or repressed emotions. That interpretation lines up with what the Mystical Cats Tarot reading would suggest.

But, the interesting thing is that the traditional reading of the Ace of Cups in the reversed position is to actually fight through the emotion, using the emotional energy to carry you forward. The reversed Ace of Cups can actually mean that you it’s possible to over-express your emotions. But, like the Ace of Sea would suggest, it can mean the opposite, as well.

In any case, you may be feeling emotionally drained or exhausted. Take a moment to reflect on how you are feeling and how it may be affecting your reactions and responses to everyday things.

You may also be holding back in your relationship with a best friend, family member, or partner, out of fear of getting hurt or losing that relationship. So, you must stay open and truthful with your partner, friend, or family member in order for that relationship to move forward.

So, if you’re blocking or repressing some powerful emotion, it’s time to find a way to constructively and positively release it. Let go of any fear you have that may be stopping you from going forward with something. Release any anger, frustration, or sadness that you may be holding in through some creative outlet, such as art, writing, or singing. Generally speaking, if you’re bottling up some negative energy, it’s time to turn it into a positive.

What does the Ace of Sea (or the Ace of Cups) mean for you?

The Star (Stars) - Mystical Cats Tarot Reading

Picture
If you draw the Stars card in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this tarot card reading?

DECK: Mystical Cats Tarot
CARD: Stars (The Star)
POSITION: Upright

In Mystical Cats Tarot, the Stars card is the same as The Star in any of the Waite Tarot decks. In this deck, the imagery of the Stars card depicts a grey cat in a tree looking up at the constellation of the Great Lion. It’s the same artwork depicted on the front of the Mystical Cats Tarot box. The Major Arcana are known as the Cat Mysteries in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, hence why some of the names of the cards are different and their meanings somewhat altered.

Quoting the “Tales of the Mystical Cats:”

“When Bast gave birth to the universe, she blessed each of her creations with a connection to cosmic consciousness. Cats are aware of this from kittenhood. We know we are part of something bigger than ourselves. Like stars, we are bright, perfect, unique, and are linked to a common origin as we live out our individual destinies. This is the great Mystery of faith: to trust that there is meaning and intention in the pattern of our lives. When we gaze upward and behold the Great Lion, we know that we too are made of stardust.” -  Lunaea Weatherstone, “Tales of the Mystical Cats from Mystical Cats Tarot

What advice does this card give you?

The advice that the Stars card gives you is that you should never doubt your uniqueness. You are a precious being and a vital part of the unfolding of the Universe. Keep faith that things are happening as they are meant to, even if things are unclear right now. You must trust the Universe that the pattern of your life will soon become much clearer to you. You can take action knowing that your path is being guided by the Divine Will.

Indeed, this is a great card to see all the time! It’s very much the same as pulling The Star from a traditional Waite deck. The Star often signifies positive things such as inspiration and Hope, serenity and renewal, and spirituality. Also, just like the Stars card in Mystical Cats Tarot, the Star is associated with the number 17. From a numerology perspective, 17 equals 8: (1+7=8). The number Eight means Strength. This is the quality most necessary when learning to love and accept yourself in spite of your faults.
While the traditional Waite Tarot meaning and the Mystical Cats Tarot meanings are somewhat different, they certainly go together. Whichever meaning you choose to believe in by your own intuition, drawing this card is a good omen. Know that the Universe has your back as long as you learn to accept and love yourself and have faith in your own abilities and talents.

What does the Stars card (or The Star) mean for you?

If you draw The Cheetah card in The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit  deck, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this spirit animal card reading?

DECK: The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck
CARD: The Cheetah

ELEMENT: Fire

SYMBOLIZES: Solar Force, Action, Achievement, Masculine Energy

The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit card deck can be used as daily inspiration, to answer life questions, and even in the same way as you would use a tarot or oracle deck. As with any deck meant for readings and guidance, your intuition, as well as reflection on what the cards could mean will serve you well in discovering what they mean for you. However, this reading interpretation (based upon the guidebook included with the cards, as well as my own intuitive interpretations) can help you learn more about some possible meanings.

What Does it Mean When You Draw The Cheetah in the Animal Spirit Deck?

Being of the fire element, the cheetah has great sun force and is a very powerful being. For the cheetah, the sun's rays come from within to power the outside world. If you drew this card, you have the power to shine on the universe and help create a force of happiness. You can achieve great things. Fire animals represent a time of change or transformation - a time where light can overpower the darkness, if used wisely.

The cheetah is a very passionate being of purpose. In order to fulfill your destiny, you must have a purpose to put your passion into. Before forging into new projects, this purpose must be the intent for it to move forward. The cheetah can feel stuck and unable to move forward if there is no passion or reason to do so.

When the cheetah is in balance, this often gives the inspired creature boundless energy to achieve anything. Therefore, if you drew the cheetah card, stay in tune with your passions and purpose and utilize them to manifest great things.

When the cheetah is out of balance, the competitive and impatient nature can take over, ruining a good thing.

In order to achieve balance, the cheetah must reconnect with an inner purpose, as well as focus on masculine energies. This is true whether you are male or female. Everyone can connect with the various masculine and feminine energies we all possess. Sitting quietly in nature can help you refocus your energies and meditate to rediscover your gifts and purpose.

Ace of Earth (Ace of Pentacles) REVERSED/INVERTED - Mystical Cats Tarot Readings

If you draw the Ace of Earth card in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck in the reversed position, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this tarot card reading?

DECK: Mystical Cats Tarot
CARD: Ace of Earth (Ace of Pentacles)
POSITION: Reversed/Inverted

In Mystical Cats Tarot, the Earth Clan cards correspond to the Suit of Pentacles in any of the Waite Tarot decks. In this case, the Ace of Earth is the analog for the Ace of Pentacles. In this deck, the imagery of the Ace of Earth depicts a giant cat paw engraved into a big tree in the middle of a field.

What advice does this card give you?

When it’s upright, the Ace of Earth (or Ace of Pentacles) signifies new opportunity is right on the horizon. But when reversed, it can represent missed opportunity or a lack of foresight or planning.

The Mystical Cats Tarot deck guidebook, “The Tales of the Mystical Cats,” advises you that you may miss a great opportunity that’s right in front of you. You may be too ungrounded or scattered currently to see it. Don’t doubt your own good fortune by waste it by putting things off or being careless with your gifts.

The advice for this card also suggests that if you drew this card for a question, the answer could be yes or no. It depends on what gift is being offered to you and whether or not you want to accept it.

While this card does have many negative connotations, there is a bright side to revealing this card for your reading. It can mean that you’re experiencing self-doubt about an opportunity that has presented itself. In that case, the card advises you to not pass it up.

Another positive way of looking at this card in the reversed position is that you may have been putting off something you’ve wanted to do for a long time. Seeing this card in your reading signifies that you shouldn’t delay any longer and pursue whatever it is that you want to do. Follow your heart and in this case, listen to your heart over your head.

However, seeing the Ace of Earth reversed also means you must be cautious in your ventures. But, don’t let taking careful steps be mistaken for putting things off. You may need to take baby steps rather than diving headlong into whatever it is you’re trying to do.
Drawing the Ace of Earth in your Tarot reading means that the Earth Clan is welcoming you. It means that you have a strong connection with the Earth that you shouldn’t deny. You may be frustrated that things are not manifesting in the way you intended, and you may be finding great difficulty in achieving your goals. Don’t take this card as a bad omen, though. Just look at it as a sign that you just need to pursue your same goals, but that you should be mindful of each step that you take.

If you’ve ever drawn the Ace of Earth - or Ace of Pentacles - in your Tarot Reading, what has it told you?

Three of Sea (Three of Cups) - Mystical Cats Tarot Readings

If you draw the Three of Sea card in the Mystical Cats Tarot deck, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this tarot card reading?

DECK: Mystical Cats Tarot
CARD: Three of Sea (Three of Cups)
POSITION: Upright

In Mystical Cats Tarot, the Sea Clan cards are the same as those in the Suit of Cups in any of the Waite Tarot decks. In this case, the Three of Sea corresponds with the Three of Cups. In this deck, the imagery of the Three of Sea depicts two cats and a seal chilling out on a rocky surface at the seashore.

What advice does this card give you?

According to the “Tales of the Mystical Cats,” the Three of Sea advises you to get together soon with friends. It’s a reminder that others take the same pleasure in your company as you do in theirs. You don’t need a special occasion or group activity to get together. It’s a time to celebrate the friendships in your life!

Much like its counterpart in the Three of Cups, this is a card of community and friendship. The Three of Sea card is a reminder that no matter what problems you may have in your life currently, enjoying quality time with family and friends is highly important. It’s the best way you can deal with any hassles or stresses that you’re currently dealing with.

Also, like with the Three of Cups, drawing this card signifies a respite from periods of high stress. It can mean the conclusion of any major problems you are currently having in your life. This is especially true if you’re currently dealing with trouble in interacting with others.

What this card tells me is that if you’re currently feeling isolated, then you should reach out and share your positive intentions and energy with others. Whether that’s a friend you haven’t spoken to in awhile or a family member that’s going through a rough time, focus on bringing good to them.

You may find that that you want to band with others, friends, family, acquaintances, or even total strangers to achieve a common goal for the greater good. This may involve a creative activity, such as art, writing, or some other sort of club. But it could also be a non-profit organization that serves the greater good of community.
In any case, the Three of Sea is a great card to draw upright. Take time to spend with your friends and family. Find something that you love that can help you benefit others. Share your positive energy with others, and they will share theirs with you!

What does the Three of Sea (or Three of Cups) mean for you?

If you draw the Two of Cups card in the Universal Waite Tarot deck, what does it mean? Is this a good card to draw? What lessons can you learn from this tarot card reading?

DECK: Universal Waite Tarot Deck
CARD: Two of Cups

POSITION: Reversed/Inverted

The Two of Cups is a card of union and balance. It can refer to a romantic relationship, a good friendship, a unified community, or even a career partnership. It can also indicate a parent and child bond or even the bond between yourself and a beloved pet.

Drawing this card in the reversed position signifies the need to reflect on your inner feelings. Trust and love yourself. Once you do this, all of your further relationships will be stronger for it.

Take some time to think about all of the relationships and partnerships in your life (and even potential ones). Whichever of these is weighing on your mind at the moment is that which you need to put your energy into.

Drawing the Two Of Cups indicates a need to start new projects, go on an adventure, or do something else that is vital to the particular relationship you are in need of nurturing.

Take this time to nurture the relationship on your mind and it will grow strong.
