Blaze the Cat - Sonic Universe Fan Art

For whatever reason, around the end of 2013, I became very interested in drawing Blaze the Cat from the Sonic the Hedgehog Universe.

I mean, it's not hard to like Princess Blaze's character design. There are some parallels between the designs of Luna Starlight and Blaze, although Blaze wasn't the inspiration for Luna's purple hair or really anything about her.

In fact, I think I was inspired the other way around. Like, oh hey, this is an awesome character that could be best buddies with Luna and the other Felona...

Anyway...

I drew two pretty good pictures of Blaze the Cat. There were others, but over time they've become lost to me... they weren't very good and probably got tossed.

As much as I liked my first pic, I actually like my second portrait even better. I think it's the smile.

In any case, I just like to draw Blaze, among other characters.
